At Free to Be ADHD, we strive to empower individuals with ADHD by providing tailored support and resources. Our mission is to foster understanding and acceptance in both personal and educational environments.

At Free to Be ADHD, we are committed to supporting educators in Primary Schools, Kindergartens, and Early Learning Centers to understand ADHD in a practical and solutions based way to help ensure children are included and successful in their educational settings.

Daniel has been working in Education for over 20 years and has also spent time working in disability support. He has a Master's Degree in Inclusive Education and has taught children from 12 months old through to year 12. He also draws on his own experiences with ADHD to connect with his audience and provide unique insights into the workings of the ADHD brain.

We offer a range of Professional Development opportunities to Primary Schools, Kindergartens and Early Learning Centers, and can tailor our PD to suit the needs of the staff.
ADHD 101 and Consults are only available in the Geelong/Bellarine region.
Full Day PD's outside of this region can be organised but will include additional costs.

During the day, we unpack the misunderstandings about ADHD, how it really affects the brain and behaviours, and what real world impact this has on children and subsequently their educators. We identify the individual elements of ADHD and how each child's presentation is unique. We look at practical and solutions based strategies to assist the child to not only succeed in an inclusive environment, but to thrive in their educational setting.

Shorter to suit a staff meeting or section of a PD day, this PD looks at the realities of ADHD and moves us away from stereotypical or unhelpful understandings of ADHD, and delves into the intricacies and nuances of how an ADHD brain works, allowing for Educators to reflect on how they can best support a child in their learning environment with ADHD.
From $350.00

Available for meeting with staff, and/or leadership, or even classroom observations, a Consult is an effective way to discuss the needs of individual children, and can be used to unpack observable and recorded behaviours, with the intent being to understand the child on a deeper level, decipher their communication attempts, and provide them with resources and strategies that will help them and the staff within their learning environement. Consults are best incorporated after whole staff PDs, but can be stand alone bookings.
